The WISC-V is the gold standard assessment tool to measure a child's intellectual ability. It is an individually administered clinical instrument for children aged between 6 years and 16 years 11 months. It provides subtest and composite scores that represent intellectual functioning in specific cognitive domains, as well as a composite score that represents general intellectual ability.

The Wechsler Individual Achievement Test Third Edition assesses the academic achievement of children, adolescents, tertiary students and adults aged between 4 years and 50 years of age. The test enables the assessment of a broad range of academic skills or only an area of need. There are four basic scales: Reading, Math, Writing, and Oral Language.
